Attended Skyline High School in Sammamish, Wash…. three-year letterwinner for coach Chris Tamminen…40th-round draft pick by the Cleveland Indians…earned 4A All-State first-team honors as a SENIOR after scoring 21 runs with 10 stolen bases to help SHS win the 4A State title…hit .415 for his legion team in 2015, helping them to a legion state championship and was later selected to play in the Area Code games…named team captain as junior and senior…as a JUNIOR, named a team captain…as a SOPHOMORE, posted a .333 batting average…three-year letterwinner in football for coach Mat Taylor…as a SENIOR, named All-State first-team at defensive back…helped SHS reach the 4A state title game as a senior starting at wide receiver and cornerback….as a junior, named all-conference at cornerback
