To Fans and Friends of WSU Athletics,

Welcome to Washington State University’s Office of Athletics Compliance. WSU is committed and obligated to the principle of institutional control in operating its athletics program in a manner that is consistent with the letter and spirit of NCAA, Pac-12 Conference and institutional rules and regulations.

We view athletics compliance in terms of educational programs in conjunction with strict rules enforcement procedures. The existence of a quality compliance program depends on the willingness of coaches, administrators, staff personnel, student-athletes and representatives of athletics interests to learn and abide by NCAA Bylaws, Pac-12 Conference rules and University regulations, and to ask questions when compliance issues arise. The University's commitment to maintain control of its athletics programs through the responsible administrators, faculty, and institutional bodies; to educate coaches, staff, student-athletes and other individuals involved with the athletics program in their institutional responsibilities under the rules; to develop operating systems within the athletics department and the University that provide guidance in how to work within the rules; and to discover and report any violations of rules that occur.
