Attended Sisters High School in Sisters, Ore…four-year letterwinner for coach  Steve Hodges….earned All-State first-team honors as a SOPHOMORE and second-team honors as a JUNIOR…was named Sisters High School’s Athlete of the Year as a SOPHOMORE…as a SENIOR, named 4A State Player of the Year and Sky-Em Player of the Year after hitting .557 with 12 home runs, 13 doubles and 62 RBI…named to Perfect Game All-American West honorable mention…selected in 18th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the San Diego Padres… also lettered four times in soccer and three times in basketball…was a three-time all-league selecting in soccer including the Sky-Em Player of the Year as a JUNIOR and SENIOR…named to All-Sky-Em Second Team as a JUNIOR and SENIOR…played summer ball for Team Northwest…selected to play in the USA Baseball Nation Identification Series.
