Attended Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Wash. and played for coach Kurt Koschelnik…two-time first-team All-Wesco selection…as a JUNIOR, led the state of Washington in ERA (0.42)…as a SENIOR, named first-team All-State, struck out 101 batters in 60 innings while throwing one perfect game and another no-hitter that featured 19 strikeouts.
