WASHINGTON STATE CAREER
RS-JUNIOR (2019): Appeared in nine games, all out of the bullpen...worked 4.1 innings. struck out two...went 0-0 with a 8.31 ERA.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2018): Appeared in 18 games, eight as a starter…went 0-5 with a 8.19 ERA…recorded 33 strikeouts in 40.2 innings…opening day starter against UC Riverside at the Husker Classic in Tempe (Feb. 16), worked five innings with career-high seven strikeouts, allowed one earned run on five hits…struck out five, allowed two runs in 5.1 innings against Saint Mary’s (March 9)…had a pair of scoreless appearances out of the bullpen at Arizona (March 23, 25)…had scoreless inning of work against Arizona State (March 30)…started at Oregon (Game 1 – April 6), struck out two and allowed one earned run in four innings.
RS-FRESHMAN (2017): Appeared in 15 games, six as a starter…went 2-3 with 6.14 ERA…recorded 17 strikeouts in 29.1 innings…held opposing hitters to a team-best .223 batting average….held Pac-12 hitters to a .167 batting average…earned first career win with two-pitch relief outing in collegiate debut at Sacramento State (Feb. 19)…first career start came at Long Beach State (March 15), struck out two, allowed two earned runs on two hits in three innings…worked 2.1 scoreless innings against Cal State Northridge (March 26)...recorded 1.2 scoreless innings against No. 8 Arizona (April 7)…earned starts at Gonzaga (April 17) and No. 30 Washington (April 23)…earned win with five no-hit innings while striking out four in start at Utah (April 28)…struck out two in three against Oregon (May 7)…worked perfect inning of relief with one strikeout at No. 1 Oregon State (May 21)…worked three innings against No. 8 Stanford (May 25).

Played at Mount Si High School in North Bend, Wash. and was a two-year letterwinner for coach Zach Habben…also lettered twice in basketball…played 2016 summer ball for the Fort McMurray Giants in the Western Major Baseball League…went 4-2 with a 4.46 ERA in seven starts…recorded 27 strikeouts in 40.1 innings.

Parents, Andres and Marcela…Burke and Kirsten…younger brothers, Jabe and London…dad, Burke played basketball at Pacific Lutheran (1986-90) in Tacoma, Wash. and was inducted into the PLU Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011...is a level 8 master in the classical piano.
