Adam Thackery

Adam Thackery

A 2011 graduate of Indiana University, Adam Thackery came to Washington State University Athletics prior to the 2016-17 season. He was named the Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning in the spring of 2018.
 
Thackery has built up a wealth of experience during his time with the Miami University, where he was the first assistant strength and conditioning coach for the football team. He made the transition to Miami from the University of Indianapolis, where he was an assistant strength and conditioning coach that assisted 11 different teams.
 
Thackery is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, along with being Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association. He also holds the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Level 1, and USA Weightlifting Level 1 certifications.
 
Thackery has had 34 All-American athletes under his tutelage and trained 15 draft picks from the MLB and NFL.
 
Thackery achieved his master’s in Kinesiology from Indiana University and his bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of Indianapolis. He is Joined in Pullman by his wife Brittany.
