Junior (2013) – Played in 12 games off the bench…batted .286 with one RBI and three runs…first-collegiate hit came March 23 against Brown…added first-career RBI a day later against the Bears.
LOWER COLUMBIA CAREER
Sophomore (2012) – Team placed third at the NWAACC tournament…named to NWAACC All-Academic team.
Freshman (2011) – Team made it to the Northwest Athletic Association of Community College Championship.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Lettered in baseball three times…senior year first team all-league…member of Olympian’s All-Area team…participated in the Senior All-Star Game...team won the Western Cascade Conference Title.
PERSONAL
Michael Gregory Monda…born in Olympia, Wash….father Greg and mother Donna…Greg played baseball at WSU and graduated in 1983…also played baseball for the Cincinnati Reds organization…Donna graduated from WSU in 1986…brother Greg and Jason…Jason, a twin, is a senior and is on the WSU baseball team…high school teammate of current Cougar Kellen Camus.
