Cougar Baseball Home Opener Postponed Due to Weather

PULLMAN, Wash. (March 1, 2024) – Washington State's home opener against Rhode Island was postponed due to weather at Bailey-Brayton Field Friday.

The game was called in the bottom of the first inning after Max Hartman doubled to left-centerfield and scored on an Alan Shibley RBI-groundout. The game will be resumed with Casen Taggart at the plate in the bottom of the first inning.

The two teams will resume the game and play a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 12:05 p.m.
