GENERAL: Coached by Glen Nitta, earning three varsity letters...also earned a letter in football as a quarterback...JUNIOR: Pitched the only perfect game ever recorded at Mililani HS...averaged 9.4 strikeouts per inning...selected to second team All-State squad...also selected first team OIA...tied Sid Fernandez for the American Legion strikeout record with 19...SENIOR: Pitched a no-hitter and three one-hitters...selected first team OIA and second team All-State for the second year in a row...member of the Hawaiian American Legion team that qualified to play in the regional tournament in New Mexico.
