HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned nine varsity letters at Eisenhower High School in Yakima, Wash….three-year football letterwinner for coach Gary Juninez, one letter in wrestling and one in basketball…four-time letterwinner in track and field for former Cougars great Phil English…during prep football career, selected All-Columbia Basin Big Nine league second team as sophomore and Lineman of the Year as a junior…senior season named Yakima Valley Football Player of the Year by the Yakima Valley Sports Commission…repeated as CBBN Lineman of the Year and named to All-CBBN first team as a right guard and nose tackle…during track and field career, won District shot put title as both junior (50-10) and senior (48-8 1/2)...placed 11th in shot put at 2016 state 4A championships (48-2 1/2)…heaved shot put in 2017 of 54-11 3/4 at Walla Walla…finished fourth (54-8) at 4A state championships.
PERSONAL. Born in Madison, Wis….parents, Robert and Kim…younger brother, Dylan…also worked two years with youth groups that raises money to help special needs kids…interested in majoring in education at WSU.
