SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Indoor - Soared to a PR triple jump distance of 14.89m/48-10 1/4i for fourth place at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships (2/25/17, Seattle)…Outdoor - Reached a distance of 14.65m/48-0 3/4 at WSU-UW Dual…placed eighth at the Pac-12 Championships with a leap of 14.85m/48-8 3/4w…named to Pac-12 T&F All-Academic honorable mention team.
FRESHMAN (2015-16): Indoor - Started classes at WSU in January 2016…competed unattached at the Cougar Indoor and triple jumped 14.41m/47-3 1/2i (2/6/16, Pullman)…Outdoor - Had a collegiate-best long jump of 5.78m/18-11 3/4 at Trojan Invite (3/19/16, Los Angeles)…PR triple jump leap of 14.67m/48-1 3/4 came three days later at UCAL Jim Bush Collegiate Invite (3/22/16, Los Angeles)…at Pac-12 Championships took 10th in triple jump with mark of 14.45m/47-5.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned six varsity letters at El Dorado High School…two letters for cross country coach Ana Terrazas…four letters as a jumper for coach Rummie Gray…junior year triple jumped 45-9 1/4...finished third in triple jump at University Interscholastic League 5A District 1 and fifth at UIL 5A District 1 & 2 Area meet…participated in the Project Triple Jump produced by the National Scholastic Athletics Foundation as a junior…senior year won the 1-6A District triple jump championship with a leap of 48-0…next weekend soared to PR triple jump of 48-2 to win the 1-2 6A District title…at the UIL Region 1-6A meet, triple jumped 46-7 1/4 for sixth place.

Born in 1996 in Georgia…father Roberto is retired from the military…mother Pamela is a case worker…older brother David Salmon…younger sister Scarlett Flores…hobbies include playing the piano, videogames, anime (Japanese animation) and Japanese comics called Manga…interested in environmental engineering at WSU.
