FRESHMAN (2021-22): Indoor- Competed in three events; the UW Indoor Preview, UW Invitational and the Husky Classic and placed second in all three. At the UW Invite where she recorded a personal best throw of 53-7 3/4 [16.35m]… Outdoor- Competed in 10 events during the season… She recorded her personal record in the hammer throw at the Sam Adams Classic with a mark of 55.95m placing third in the event… at the Pac-12 Track and Field Championships she placed 14th overall with a mark of 49.96m in the hammer throws.
PERSONAL:
Daughter of Lana and Alexander... She has two siblings... Her sister, Irena, is a forward on the Seattle University women's basketball team... She is a Ph.D. student studying molecular biology and genetics at WSU... She is a first-generation American after her parents moved her family to the states from Russia... Her mother played professional basketball in Russia and was a member of the Russian Olympic women's basketball team.
