SOPHOMORE (2021-22): Outdoor - PR'd in her first meet of the outdoor season with a mark of 43.72m to finish seventh overall at the Baldy Castillo Invitational (3/18-19)... Hit a mark of 42.47m at the Hayward Premier (4/1-2)... Placed 13th at the Pac-12 Championships (5/13-15) in the javelin throw with a mark of 36.59m.
FRESHMAN (2020-21): Outdoor – Competed at two meets during her first stint with Washington State...Maelyn first competed in the javelin at the Whitworth Essential Invite where she won the event with a throw of 141-2 (43.03m)...George also competed at the Hayward Premiere in the javelin throw where she placed sixth overall, along with posting a personal best of 142-10 (43.54m).
