SENIOR (2021-22): Outdoor - Placed seventh at the Baldy Castillo (3/18-19) in the 800m run in 1:57.40... Competed in the 5000m run at the Hayward Premier (4/1-2), finishing in 14:46.33 (19th)... Set a lifetime best in the 1500m run at the Bryan Clay Invitational (4/13-15) with a 3:43.42 (68th)... Finished 21st at the Pac-12 Championships (5/13-15) in the 1500m run with a time of 3:55.81.
BEFORE WSU:
JUNIOR (2019-20) w/ QUEENS UNIVERSITY: Indoor - Tallied three podium finishes at the South Atlantic Indoor Championships (2/29-3/1) in the final meet of the season, finishing first in the mile (4:18.77), second in the 800m (1:56.34), and third in the 3000m (8:37.32)... He finished the indoor season with five individual top-fives and one relay top five.
SOPHOMORE (2018-19) w/ QUEENS UNIVERSITY: Indoor - Opened his indoor season with a 14:24.60 (12th) 5k at the GVSU Holiday Open (12/7)... Finished 16th in the Liberty Kickoff (1/25-26) 800m at 1:58.62 and 15th in the Camel City Invitational (2/1-2) mile at 4:17.08... Placed top-three in both the mile and the 800m at the South Atlantic Conference Championships (2/23-24), winning the SAC individual title in the mile at 4:21.54... Was the Division II NCAA Champion in the mile, finishing first at the NCAA Indoor Championships (3/8-9) in 4:11.18... Outdoor - Had his lifetime best in the 5k at 14:19.67 to place 49th at the Raleigh Relays (3/29-30), the opening meet of the outdoor season... Set a season-best in the 1500m to finish seventh at the Bison Outdoor Classic (4/13-14) in 3:45.99... He placed second in the 1500m run (3:59.89) and third in the 800m (1:54.27) at the South Atlantic Conference Championships (4/18-20) before finishing the season on the podium with a third-place finish in the 1500m at the NCAA DII Outdoor T&F Championships (5/23-25)
FRESHMAN (2017-18) w/ QUEENS UNIVERSITY: Indoor - Competed in the 3000m run at four events, qualifying for nationals with an 8:15.69 at the George Mason Last Chance Meet (2/26)... Finished with a DNF at his first-career NCAA DII Indoor T&F Championships (3/9-11). Outdoor - Made his collegiate outdoor debut across town at the Charlotte 49ers Classic where he placed 10th in the 1500m run at 3:54.76 and seventh in the 800m run at 1:53.85... Won the 1500m twice as a true freshman, topping the podium in the event at the William & Mary Colonial Relays (3/30-4/1) in 3:48.75 before claiming the individual conference title with a 3:59.65 to win his finals heat at the SAC Conference Championships (4/14-15)... He closed out his freshman campaign with a second-place finish in the Hokie Twilight men's 1500m at 3:52.29.
PERSONAL: Born on July 6, 1995...Son of Stefan and Helga Wammetsberger... Completed his Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences in the Spring of 2022.
