Graduated from North Surrey Senior High in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada…competed in cross country and track and field for coach Scott Svelander…also was a point guard in basketball and midfielder in soccer…freshman year basketball team advanced to Provincial Championships, finished 15th…summer before senior year, placed fourth in the 1500m at the Canadian Legion youth nationals in at time of 3:56.11…as a harrier, at 2014 UW Sundodger Cross Country Invite, finished fifth…in the Boys 5000m Seeded race at the 41st Annual Stanford Invitational Cross Country meet in 2014, was runner-up…won 2014 British Columbia High School Cross Country Championships 6400m Senior race…competed at the Pan Am Cross Country Championships in Columbia, finishing 10th in the junior men’s race…placed fourth at Canadian Junior XC (Under 20) Championships…selected to run for Team Canada at 2015 World Junior XC Championships in China and finished 84th…on the track oval, 2014 Provincial champion in the 1500m and 3000m…at the Oregon Relays that year, took fourth in 3000m (8:37.07) and eighth in 1500m (4:03.51).
