REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015-16): Indoor - Put the shot a distance of 15.72m/51-7i at the Cougar Indoor…at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships heaved the 35-lb weight throw a PR of 18.24m/59-10 1/4i (2/27/16, Seattle)…Outdoor - Tossed PR in shot put of 15.86m/52-0 1/2 at Trojan Invite (3/19/16, Los Angeles)…hammer throw PR distance of 46.81m/153-7 was thrown at Jim Bush Collegiate (3/22/16, Los Angeles)…PR discus throw of 52.77m.173-1 won the event at the WSU-UW Dual (4/23/16, Pullman)…at Pac-12 Championships threw discus 47.18m/154-9 for 17th place.
 
JUNIOR (2014-15): Indoor - Redshirt season…Outdoor - Redshirt season…competing unattached at Cougar Invitational, threw shot put 15.01m/49-3 and discus 45.17m/148-2 (4/25/15, Pullman).
 
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned four varsity letters at Pullman High School…two letters in football for coach Craig McCormick…two letters in track and field for coach Mike Hinz…as a junior finished third at the Pasco Invitational in discus…finished first in district and third in state 2A championships meet as a junior and…as a senior went undefeated in discus including state 2A title…PR discus throw of 177-7…also finished second in state in shot put with PR toss of 54-0 1/2…team MVP as a senior…two-time recipient of Pullman High Brandon Wisniew Memorial Award, presented for dedication to sport.
 
PERSONAL. Born in December 1994, in Jersey City, New Jersey…father Andani is an IT tech…mother Ramaton Marrank works as a nurse…two younger siblings, sister Mayyi and brother Abdul-Rahaman…cousin Niina Al-Hassan threw javelin at Brown University…president and founding member of the provisional chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma at WSU…majoring in general studies at WSU.
