WSU CAREER:
FRESHMAN (2008-09): Competed in the Wash. National Fall Classic...posted a 76 (+4) in the first round and fired a 82 in the second round...finished tied for 14th place.
Ohio Valley University: Played golf for two seasons...was a participant in the 2007 U.S. Amateur Championship...made the Dean's List his freshman and sophomore years with a 4.0 GPA.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Named team captain and MVP for the varsity golf team his sophomore, junior and senior years...played under head coach Larry Lyons...as a JUNIOR won one high school championship...during his SENIOR year he was ranked No. 1 in the Canadian Junior Golf Association and won three high school championships and nine junior tournaments.
PERSONAL: John Moon...born in Seoul, South Korea...parents Jae Kook and Kyung Hye...one older sister Carolyn...father played for the Korean National Team (basketball) and was head coach of the national team for 15 years...enjoys basketball, fishing, watching movies and reading...will pursue biology and psychology degrees at WSU.
