CORVALLIS, Ore. (May 19, 2026) – Freshman Dylan Boenning shot a 1-over, 72, for the second-straight day during second-round play at the 2026 Corvallis Men's Golf Regional, Tuesday at the par-71, 7,349-yard Trysting Tree Golf Club.
Senior Sam Renner, also representing Washington State as an individual at the NCAA Corvallis Regional, shot a 6-over, 77 Tuesday after an even-par round on Monday.
Boenning struggled on his front nine, going 3-over with bogeys on Holes 4,6, and 7. After making the turn at 3-over, he parred the first six holes on the back 9 before making birdie on the par-6, 16th. Following a par on the 17th, he closed his round with a birdie on 18 for s second-consecutive 72 and a two-round score of 2-over, 144, tied for 43rd overall.
Renner never found a rhythm during his round, with three bogeys on each side with no birdies to finish his round at 6-over, 77. His 36-hole score of 6-over, 148, has him tied for 62nd overall.
Play concludes Wednesday morning with Renner teeing off at 9:20 and Boenning in the next group at 9:30.
