Cougars Post 4-0 Victory over Seattle

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University improved to 9-1 on the season following a 4-0 victory over Seattle Saturday morning at the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse. The Cougars captured the opening doubles point with victories at No. 2 and 3. Michaela Bayerlova and Aneta Miksovska were first off with a 6-0 win followed by Tiffany Mylonas and Guzal Yusupova, who clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 win. Straight-set singles wins from Michaela Bayerlova, Tiffany Mylonas and Barbora Michalkova clinched the team victory for the Cougars. Once the team victory was secured, the remaining matches were stopped. WSU will face Eastern Washington later Saturday at 4 p.m. at Hollingbery Fieldhouse.
