Cougars Sweep Singles Play in Hawaii

HONOLULU – Washington State University continued its 2018 season-opening tournament by posting nine wins Friday during the second day of play at the Weinman Foundation Invitational at the UH Tennis Complex. The Cougars, host Hawaii and Cal State Northridge comprise the three-team event, which features singles and doubles matches, though no team scores are kept. For the second straight day, the Cougars captured two of three doubles matches, but unlike Thursday, WSU swept all seven singles matches Friday, four coming in straight sets.
