Cougars Collect Second Sweep of Day

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State tennis team completed a two-match sweep Saturday, defeating Montana State 7-0 at the Simmelink Tennis Courts at Hollingbery Fieldhouse. Earlier in the Day WSU defeated Idaho by the identical score. The Cougars captured all six singles matches against the Bobcats in straight sets and cruising through doubles, surrendering just four games in the three matches. Junior Tiffany Mylonas won her 12th-straight match following the 6-0, 6-1 win against the Bobcats, the longest winning streak of the season by a WSU player.

"I am impressed with our players focus tonight after a long day. Montana State is a well-coached team. Collectively, we played our best tennis tonight. We will now turn our focus to preparing for Montana and Iowa next weekend."
