GENERAL: Earned three varsity letters in baseball for coach Tim Rypien and Scott Harmon… also lettered in football as a running back and free safety for the North Central Indians… JUNIOR: Second varsity letter and named to first-team all-GSL… hit .425 with seven home runs in summer ball… SENIOR: Hit .420 with five home runs en route to repeating as a first-team all-GSL selection… captained the baseball squad… played with the Spokane Heat in the summer where he hit 18 home runs… co-MVP of the Heat as they won a record 65 games.
MLB Draft: Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 37th round of the 1998 draft.

FRESHMAN (1997-98): Hit .425 and broke the schools home run record (14), runs (73), hits (76) and RBI (69)… honored as an all-NWAAC first-team selection… twice selected as the CBCC Athlete of the Month… played for the Aloha (Ore.) Knights in the PIL… drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 37th round… played for coach Scott Rogers… SOPHOMORE (1998-99): Was not as successful at the plate as league switched from using aluminum bats to wood… played for the Aloha Knights in the PIL where he hit .350 with six home runs.

Justin Jon Williams… born 02-06-79 at Richland, Wash.… parents Brian and Mary Jane Williams… has two brothers, Jeremy (19) and Jacob (16)… had two cousins and two uncles that also attended WSU… his uncle Tom Hedemark played football for the Cougs and another uncle played baseball for WSU… .enjoys mountain biking, roller hockey, basketball and football… transferred to WSU from Columbia Basin CC in August… pursuing a degree in sport management at WSU.
