GENERAL: Earned two varsity letters for head coach Tip Lefebvre and captained the Eagles in 1999…JUNIOR: Received All-Serra League second team honors…SENIOR (1998-99): Received all-league first team honors while hitting .476 with 11 home runs…earned MVP honors in the Sea View League All-Star Game.
FRESHMAN (1999-00): Attended Saddleback College for two seasons, playing for head coach Jack Hodges…played second and third base…hit .370 with six home runs and 13 doubles while earning second team all-league honors.
SOPHOMORE (2000-01): Team captain…an all-conference first team pick after hitting .354 with five home runs and 25 doubles, tying him for state lead…collected 62 hits and drove home 42 runs.
JUNIOR (2001-02): Enrolled in August.
Jeffrey David LaRue…born 6-19-80 at Livonia, Calif….parents Keith and Bernie LaRue…one brother Mike and two sisters, Cori Schubert and Angie Portnoff…brother played baseball at Westmont College…enjoys playing golf, spear fishing and video games…interested in a communication major at WSU.
