GENERAL: Coached by Robert Cravin, earning three varsity letters as a pitcher and catcher...also lettered in basketball...SOPHOMORE: Earned All-Desert League first team honors...JUNIOR: An all-conference honorable mention pick...as a SENIOR (1997-98): The league's first team catcher and team captain...team won conference title...also posted a 5-1 record on the mound.

FRESHMAN (1999-00): Attended CS-San Bernadino for one year...catcher and pitcher...hit .290 with three home runs over first 25 games...then moved to the bullpen, where he served as a closer.
SOPHOMORE (2000-01): Transferred to Grossmont College, were he was coached by Ed Olson...team's most valuable pitcher...recorded a 12-1 record with a 1.95 ERA...named to the All-Pacific Coast Conference first team.
