WSU CAREER

JUNIOR (Fall 2009): Held a 7-4 singles record during fall season...reached the final of the Crimson bracket at the Cougar Classic, falling to teammate Elisabeth Fournier...posted a 5-6 doubles record, including a loss in the final of the Gonzaga/Eastern Washington Invitational.

SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Held the No.1 spot in the Cougars lineup... Posted a 14-7 singles record...missed 7 matches midway through the spring season to recover from a collapsed lung...Nine doubles wins...faced nine ranked opponents during the season...finished season ranked No.30 in the ITA Northwest Region...earned the No. 1 singles championship at the Cougar Classic...also competed at the Jack Taylor BSU Invitational where she defeated No. 103 Ola Abou-Zekry, 6-1, 0-6, 6-1...competed at ITA Northwest Regional in fall season...received the Cissie Leary Award for Sportsmanship by the ITA, as well as the WSU team Strength and Conditioning Award.

FRESHMAN (2007-08): Finished the season with a 21-16 record...the 21 wins are second most on the team for the season...most wins by a freshman on the season...competed at the Cougar Classic, USTA Women's Collegiate Invitational and ITA Northwest Regional...faced off against seven ranked opponents defeating one, No. 125 Janet Kim of Yale... earned a 4-2 records against in state opponents...earned two Pac-10 victories over Natalia Toporowska of Arizona and Tara Simpson of Washington...posted a 19-16 during doubles play while teamed with three different teammates... all wins came while paired with senior Ekaterina Burduli, earning a 19-13 record.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER Held Russian junior age-group national rankings, reaching as high as No. 4 in 2003 in girls under 14...she attained a No. 15 ranking in 2004 for the under 14 age group... won two national tournaments while reaching the finals in three others.

PERSONAL Ekaterina Kamendova...born in Sochi, Russia...father Taras...mother Elena... enjoys reading books, listening to music and playing volleyball...she is undecided in her major at WSU.
