Cougar Men's Golf Sits in Ninth Place at Border Olympics

LAREDO, Texas - The Washington State men's golf team is in ninth place at the Border Olympics after two rounds.
The Cougars were 5-over, 293 in the first round before slipping back to 12-over, 300 in the second round. Washington State will have to make up nine strokes over the final-18 holes, Saturday, to move up to fifth place.
Individually, Blake Snyder had a solid day with a 2-under 70 in the first round and an even par 72 in the second round to put him into a tie for third.
Michael Anderson carded an even 72 in the first round and was at 2-over 74 in the second round. He is currently tied for 15th.
The final round begins with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Central/8 a.m. Pacific.
