BANDON, Ore. - The Washington State men's golf team shot a 2-over, 290 and finished 10th in the 18-team field at the Bandon Dunes Championship, Sunday.

Sang Lee provided the best score in the final round for the Cougars with a 1-under, 71 to finish tied for 39th at 8-over, 224. Hank Frame, Kyle Hurt and Blake Snyder each carded a 1-over, 73, Sunday. Frame's 3-over, 219 placed him in a tie for 21st as Washington State's top finisher.

"We got better and better each day," Cougar Head Coach Garrett Clegg said. "We still have a lot to learn about how to compete and close rounds. Other teams in the tournament overcame mistakes and finished ahead of us because of it."

The Cougars travel to Laredo, Texas for the Border Olympics hosted by Houston, Friday and Saturday.
