Fodor Completes Weekend with a Win

BERKELEY, Calif. - Senior Zsofia Fodor ended competition at the Cal-Nike Invitational Sunday with a victory. Fodor was the only Cougar competing in the final day of the tournament.
Fodor recorded her fourth win on the season by losing the first match and coming back to knock off Arizona's Iza Ferreira, 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.
"I'm proud of the way Zsofia fought back after losing the first set," said Washington State assistant coach Kristen Stubbs.
The Cougars will head to Stanford, Calif., Oct. 22 to play in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional.
