Prior to WSU: Rowed for the Commencement Bay Rowing Club... Placed third at the US Rowing Northwest Championships in 2017... Qualified for US Rowing JR nationals in the 4+... Won the Windermere Cup at University of Washington in 2018 and placed second in 2019... Won team heart award in 2017 and 2019 for being and outstanding team mate.
 
Personal: Graduated High School with a diploma and an associate degree from Pierce College...  Her parents Virginia and Jon Jacobson are both Commercial Pilots... She has one sister named Skylar, 21, who rows at University of Washington... Talia has three relatives who attended WSU; her mom Virginia (1988), her aunt Jane Smith (1986), and her uncle Robert Smith (1993)... She intends to major in Political Science.
