WSU CAREER: As a JUNIOR (2016-17), with the varsity eight crew finished third at the Clemson Invite, finishing ahead of No. 10 Virginia, No. 11 Wisconsin, No. 20 Indiana, and No. 15 Syracuse, team placed fourth overall…as a member of the varsity eight, finished fourth at the Pac-12 Championships, helping lead WSU to their third-straight year finishing in the top-four…varsity eight crew took first place in the ‘C’ Final at the NCAA Championships, to place 13th overall, team went on to finish 14th.
 
PRIOR TO WSU: Rowed two seasons at Loyola Marymount before transferring to WSU…as a SOPHOMORE (2015-16), member of the varsity eight that finished third at the WCC Championship…was named WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention…as a FRESHMAN (2014-15), helped LMU to a third-place finish at the WCC Championship...part of women's varsity eight that won at the San Diego Crew Classic.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Tartu Jaan Poska Gümnaasium in 2014 at Tartu, Estonia…played soccer and qualified for the Tartu Cup three times during her sophomore-senior seasons…helped team to third, second, and third-place finishes in the cup, respectively…rowed for SAK Tartu rowing club and was a three-time Estonian Champion, 10-time Baltic Champion, and placed 13^th at the World Rowing Junior Championships.
 
PERSONAL: Born Kristel Tohu, July of 1995 at Tartu, Estonia…father Marco…brother Tauri…sister Gerly…enjoys art…majoring in political science.
