WSU CAREER: Rowed with the varsity eight in the fall as a SENIOR (2018-19)…in the spring, was a part of the second varsity eight crew, which included a fifth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships…named Pac-12 All-Academic second team for the second-straight season…as a JUNIOR (2017-18), rowed with the third varsity eight against No. 1 Washington…in the second heat of the day, the Cougs took second to the Huskies…helped the Cougar’s ninth-straight win against Oregon State for the Winchell Cup by rowing with the third varsity eight…placed a close second with the third varsity eight at the Clemson Invitational behind Ohio State in the ‘A’ Final…raced against Gonzaga for the Fawley Cup securing a first place win for its heat…rowed with the third varsity eight at the Pac-12 Championships and finished fourth helping the Cougars to capture fifth place overall…as a SOPHOMORE (2016-17), competed with the third varsity crew against Oregon State, helping WSU win its eighth-straight Winchell Cup…rowed with the third varsity eight at Clemson Invite, securing third place in the ‘B’ Final…rowed with the third varsity eight against No.1 Washington…member of the third varsity eight that placed fifth at Pac-12 Championships…was named Pac-12 Rowing All-Academic team honorable mention…as a FRESHMAN (2015-16), opened the spring season in a victory with the third varsity eight at No. 19 Gonzaga…rowed to a second-place finish with the novice eight in both the prelim and grand final of the San Diego Crew Classic…finished second to No. 9 Texas in both races…competed with the novice eight at No. 8 Washington…joined the second varsity four ‘C’ against Oregon State, as WSU went on to win its seventh-straight Winchell Cup.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in volleyball and track and field at Mount Si High School at Snoqualmie, Wash…lettered three times in volleyball and four times in track and field as a javelin and discus thrower…was track team’s captain as a senior…also was the KingCo 4A discus champion…made it to the state competition in javelin…placed tenth…won first in javelin at the Shelton Invitational as a junior…competed at the state tournament with her volleyball team as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Born Sara Elin Brevick, August of 1996 at Fall City, Wash…father Dale works in commercial construction and mother Kris is a property/nursery manager...brothers Danny, Peter, Zach, and A.J…sisters Karin and Amy…all of her siblings are older and have attended Washington State…A.J. is the only sibling currently still in school…Karin and Amy rowed for the WSU rowing team…Danny and Peter rowed for the men’s club team…Zach played football for the Cougars, and AJ is on the football equipment staff…enjoys playing with nieces and nephews, sports, and cooking…majoring in elementary education.
