WSU CAREER: During her JUNIOR (2018-19) season, rowed with the varsity eight and third varsity eight in the fall…in the spring, helped the second varsity four to victory at the San Diego Crew Classic…was a member of the third varsity eight crew that  finished fifth at the Pac-12 Championships…as a SOPHOMORE (2017-18), rowed with the third varsity eight against No. 1 Washington…in the second heat of the day, the Cougs took second to the Huskies…helped the Cougar’s ninth-straight win against Oregon State for the Winchell Cup by rowing with the third varsity eight in the stroke seat…placed a close second with the third varsity eight at the Clemson Invitational behind Ohio State in the ‘A’ Final…raced against Gonzaga for the Fawley Cup securing a first place win for its heat…rowed with the third varsity eight at the Pac-12 Championships and finished fourth helping the Cougars to capture fifth place overall…as a FRESHMAN (2016-17), spent time between the fourth and fifth varsity crews…seated in the stroke seat for the fourth varsity eight against No.18 Gonzaga…rowed with the fourth varsity eight in a win against Oregon…rowed with the fifth varsity eight against No.1 Washington.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in rowing at Miss Porter’s School at Farmington, Conn. for coach Robin Neschke…was a captain throughout the 2016 season…in the spring, led the first varsity eight and competed in the first varsity four at the New England Interscholastic Rowing Association Championships (NEIRAs)…raced in the fall at the 2015 Head of the Charles regatta…as a junior, was a substitute for the second varsity eight boat at NEIRAs…also competed as a member of the second varsity four boat and qualified for the petite finals at the NEIRAs as a sophomore…competed in the New England Prep School Swimming and Diving Championships (NEPSAC) as a freshman, sophomore, and junior…raced in the distance freestyle all three years…also competed in equestrian as a junior…made honor roll sophomore-senior years…additionally made the high honor roll spring of her senior year…was an ally of the school’s LGBTQ school community club: SPECTRUM.
 
PERSONAL: Born Ella Cowan de Wolf, April of 1998 at New York, N.Y…father Gary de Wolf and mother Marti Cowan are both architects…enjoys photography, swimming, and poetry…intends to pursue a degree in animal science.
