Bob Bashaw joined Washington State University Athletics in 2013 within the athletic medicine department as a physical therapist. 

He involved with numerous organizations which includes: American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), and The Kinesio Taping Association International (KTAI). Bob is also Board Certified as a Sports Specialist  and Orthopedic Specialist in Physical Therapy from the APTA. 

Bashaw has seen his fair share of success throughout his career as well including earning the Staff Appreciation Award from WSU SAAC, publishing Rehabilitation of the Osteoarthritic Patient: Focus on the Knee, and has held various clinics in sports medicine. During his time at Eastern Washington he made the Deans Honor List throughout college and graduated Magna Cum Lade. Prior to attending EWU, Bob earned an athletic scholarship for football at Montana State University where he helped lead the program to a Big Sky and a NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision National Championship in 1984.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University in physical therapy in 1989. He is currently a member of the WSU Student-Athlete Injury Recovery Group, and the WSU Athletic High Performance Group. 

Bob is married to Sheryl Bashaw and they have two children together, Kyle and Griffin. The Bashaw's also have two dogs, Maya and Vinny.
