Biography

WSU CAREER... JUNIOR (2020) Indoor- Competed in seven meets during the season… he placed second in the 400m dash at the Idaho Team Challenge with a time of 48.07… at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier he recorded a season best time of 47.46 in the 400m dash, placing second in the event… qualified for the distance medley relay but the team did not finish 

SOPHOMORE (2019): Indoor - Claimed first in the 400m (47.54) at the 2019 Bronco Invite...at the New Mexico Team Invitational won both the 400m (46.75) and the 4x400 (3:16.66)...Outdoor - placed second in the 4x100 (41.09) at the USC Trojan Invite...finished second overall in the 200m at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate...competed in the 2019 Pac-12 Track and Field Championships making the final round in the 400m (47.03) finishing seventh overall...finished 15th overall in the 4x100 at the NCAA Division I West Region.

WSU CAREER...FRESHMAN (2018): Indoor - Competed in two meets for the Cougars in his first year with WSU... won the 400m (48.95) at the 2018 Ed Jacoby Invite and Multi... placed first in the 4x400 (3:19.52) as well...Outdoor - at the USC Trojan Invitational he placed second in the 400m (47.81)...ran a 49.07 to take first in the 400m at the Beach Pacific Coast Intercollegiate.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven varsity letters at Eastmont High School...three in football as a wide receiver/free safety for coach Michael Don...four letters in track as a sprinter for coach Gary Millard...in football career, named All-Big 9 at free safety as junior….on the track was two-time Columbia Basin Big 9 Track Athlete of the Year…two-time state 4A champion in the 400m…also anchored the 4x400m relay squad that won the state title in 2015 and finished eighth and third the next two years…other state 4A finishes included: sophomore season fourth in 4x100m relay, 15th in 200m; junior year third in 200m; senior year fifth in 200m and seventh in 100m…in 2017 won every 400m race of the season…PR and school record time in 400m of 47.11 came in winning state 4A title in 2017.
 
PERSONAL. Born November 1998, in Wenatchee, Washington...father David is Chelan Country PUD asset manager who played football at Central Washington University...mother Sally is a physical therapy aid who played softball at Wenatchee Valley College...older brother Josh…enjoys rock climbing, skiing and video games...3.3 GPA…named Eastmont Student-Athlete of the Year...plans to major in biology at WSU.
