Reached a mark of 3.97m, her best of the indoor season, to place 11th at the Don Kirby Open & Elite (2/11-12)... Finished third in the pole vault at the Pac-12 Invitational (2/25-26)...

SENIOR (2020-21): Indoor – Was in action at four total meets during the indoor season...Posted a third place finish at the UW Preview in the pole vault...Best performance occurred at the Husky Classic with a mark of 3.86m / 12-8...
Outdoor – Competed in numerous events throughout the outdoor season, which included Coombs picked up three victories in the pole vault along the way...Emily took home first in the pole vault at the USC Trojan Invite, the Hayward Premiere, and at the UW v. WSU Dual...The Dual was also were Coombs posted a personal best of 4.04m / 13-3 and secured her spot in the WSU record books at sixth best all-time in the pole vault...Emily went on to place 10th overall at the Pac-12 Championships with a clearance of 3.85m / 12-7 1/2 to advance to the NCAA West Prelims in College Station, Texas...Coombs capped off the season placed 42nd overall in the West Region in the pole vault, after a mark of 3.92m / 12-10 1/4 as well.
JUNIOR (2019-20): Indoor – Competed in multiple meets throughout the 2020 indoor season, most notably taking first place overall at the UW Last Chance College Elite in the pole vault, clearing a height of 12-feet 10 1/4 inches (3.92m)...Coombs tied her career-best mark of 13-feet 1 1/2 inches (4.00m) at the MPSF Indoor Track and Field Championships, where she placed fifth overall...Named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation 2020 Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Scholar-Athlete team, and to the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
SOPHOMORE (2018-19): Indoor – Competed in five total meets in her second year at WSU, posting a PR and a win at the New Mexico Team Invitational with a mark of 13-feet 1 1/2 inches (4.00m)...
Outdoor – Saw action in seven total events, and earning second place results in two of them which included the USC Trojan Invite, and the Sam Adams Classic...
FRESHMAN (2017-18): Indoor – Competed in six total meets during her first year with WSU, including at the MPSF Indoor Championships where she placed 16th overall with a mark of 12-feet 3 1/2 inches…
