WSU CAREER: As a JUNIOR (2018-19) in the fall, won the sprint at Burnaby Lake for the third-straight year…also won the pairs race along with teammate Lisa Gutfleisch…raced with the varsity eight throughout the season...part of the varsity eight crew that defeated Gonzaga to retain the Fawley Cup for the third-straight year…named CRCA Division I All-America Honorable Mention and Pac-12 All-Conference…earned CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors, as well as Pac-12 All-Academic First Team…as a SOPHOMORE (2017-18), started the season off with a victory, winning the title of Regatta Champions after winning the sprint at the Burnaby Lake Small Boat Invitational with senior Emily Thomson…rowed exclusively with the varsity eight at the San Diego Crew Classic finishing fifth in their race…rowed with the varsity eight against Oregon State taking first place in their race helping the Cougars win their ninth-straight Winchell Cup…rowed with the varsity eight at the Clemson Invitational…finished two seconds behind No. 9 Virginia, securing second place for their race and sixth overall…the varsity eight won its second consecutive regatta against Gonzaga for the Fawley Cup…rowed with the varsity eight at the Pac-12 Championships taking fifth in their race after being seeded No. 15…the varsity eight competed in the second C/D semifinal at the NCAA Championships and took second in their race…as a FRESHMAN (2016-17), competed with the second varsity eight…helped her crew secure victory in the ‘B’ Final at the Clemson Invite to take eighth place overall…the team placed fourth…her crew took home fourth at the Pac-12 Championships, helping WSU place in the top-four for the third straight year…guided her crew to a 15th place finish at the NCAA Championships, team finished 14th.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Rowed for Jesse Hume at Stelly’s Secondary School at Saanichton, B.C…as a senior, was selected as a member of Canada’s 2015-16 Junior National Development Team…rowed at the 2016 Junior World Rowing Championships as part of Canada’s junior women’s double sculls…advanced to the ‘B’ final and placed third…selected to the Canadian Junior National Team in 2015 for CanAmMex at Mexico City…won gold in the women’s ‘A’ varsity pair…invited to row to Podium Camps with Chuck McDiarmid…2015 and 2014 Victoria City Rowing Club (VCRC) Developmental Team member…rowed in the Brentwood Regatta as a junior, and earned first in both the women’s U-19 double and quad…seat raced to a first-place finish with the Canadian Junior National Team on the starboard side at Wellard, Ontario…named the VCRC Outstanding Female Rower of the Year as a junior…won same award as a sophomore…again competed at the Brentwood Regatta, taking first with her U-17 varsity eight crew…also placed first in the varsity quad…competed at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta as a sophomore and a freshman…placed first in the women’s U-17 double and four, and second place in the U-17 eight…as a freshman, placed second in the Junior B Girls’ eight…fourth place in the Junior B Girls’ quad...and sixth place in the Junior B double.
 
PERSONAL: Born Ivy Jasmine Elling Quaintance, August of 1998 at Saanichton, B.C…father Lloyd Elling, and mother Robyn Quaintance are both retired…sister Holly.
