SAN BRUNO, Calif. (May 6, 2026) – Washington State senior Sam Renner and freshman Dylan Boenning were each named to the 2026 All-West Coach Conference Men's Golf Team, the conference announced Wednesday.
Renner, who set WSU's single-season scoring average last year at 70.67, is having another tremendous season with a 71.14 season scoring average, second-best in program history. In 29 rounds this season, the senior from Bend, Ore. had registered 11 scores in the 60's and 15 rounds at par or better. He has four Top-10 finishes in his 10 events, including a season-best T-third at the Saint Mary's Invitational and the Desimone Invitational, along with eight Top-25 finishes. This marks the second-straight season Renner has been named to the All-WCC Men's Golf Team.
Boenning, in his first season in Pullman arriving from Phoenix, Ariz., has posted a 71.76 scoring average through last week's WCC Championships, the eighth-best single-season average in school history. At last week's event, Boenning led WSU by finishing tied for fourth, a season-best, after he went 5-under, 208, with all three rounds at par or better. For the season, Boenning recorded three Top-10 and five Top-25 finishes.
The duo, along with their teammates, will learn their postseason fate Wednesday during the 2026 NCAA Men's Golf Championships Selection Show.
