PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State sophomore Jon Reehorn continued his
steady early season play by shooting a six-over-par 148 through the first
two rounds of the Fairway Club Invitational at the Firethorn Golf Club in
Lincoln, Nebraska.
Reehorn (77-71--148) finished the day in a five-way tie for 11th place.
Jeremy Taylor (76-74 --150), currently in a five-way tie for 16th place, was
the only other Cougar to crack the top 20.
Two Big-12 teams sit a top the leader board after the first 36 holes. The
University of Kansas (295-286--581) leads Missouri (298-297--595) by 14
strokes while the Cougars (305-303--608) are seventh, 27 shots behind the
Jayhawks.
Kansas senior Ryan Vermeer (68-67--135) holds a commanding six-shot lead
over Missouri's Neal Stafford (71-70--141) going into the final day in Lincoln.
