KANEOHE, Hawai'i -- Sophomore Jon Reehoorn shot a final-round 72 to finish in a tie for 13th and push the Washington State's men's golf team into a tie for sixth at the Stan Sheriff Intercollegiate Golf Tournament at the Ko'olau Golf Club Tuesday.
Reehoorn (Burlington, Wash.) shot rounds of 80-81-72 for a 233 tournament total (+17). Dustin White (Pueblo, Colo.), Matt McGeeney (San Pedro, Calif.) and Roger Flynn (Boise, Idaho) finished tied for 26th with 238 strokes. Eric Toomey (Snohomish, Wash.) was tied at 44th with 249 strokes (+33).
Michigan's Michael Harris was the individual medal winner at 223 (+7), while West Florida finished atop the 11-team tournament standings with a three-round total of 910 strokes (+46). WSU tied with International Pacific at 942 strokes (+78).
This was the final fall action for the Cougar men's golf team.
