WSU CAREER: Started fall of SENIOR (2018-19) season with a ninth-place finish in the time trial at the Burnaby Lake Small Boat Invitational…rowed with the varsity four boats for the rest of the fall…rowed with the second varsity eight in the spring, including a fifth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships…as a JUNIOR (2017-18), opened the season in the bow seat with the third varsity eight against No. 1 Washington…the Cougs took second to the Huskies…helped the Cougar’s ninth-straight win against Oregon State for the Winchell Cup by rowing with the third varsity eight…placed a close second with the third varsity eight at the Clemson Invitational behind Ohio State in the ‘A’ Final…raced with the third varsity eight against Gonzaga for the Fawley Cup securing a first place win for its heat…rowed with the varsity four in the bow seat at the Pac-12 Championships and took fourth…the varsity four finished sixth at the A/B semifinals at the NCAA Rowing Championships…as a SOPHOMORE (2016-17), started the spring season rowing with third varsity eight against No. 18 Gonzaga…helped guide the fourth varsity eight to a win over Oregon State, bringing WSU their eighth straight Winchell Cup…rowed with the fourth varsity eight against No.1 Washington…as a FRESHMAN (2015-16), opened the spring season with a victory in the fourth varsity eight at No. 19 Gonzaga…rowed with the third varsity eight ‘B’ against Oregon State as WSU won its seventh-consecutive Winchell Cup.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-sport athlete and earned four varsity letters in cross country, gymnastics, and track and field at Gonzaga Prep at Spokane, Wash.

PERSONAL: Born Sophia Frances Rogers, March of 1997 at Spokane, Wash…father Brett and mother Cecelia…sister Chloë rowed for Washington State from 2013-17 and coaches at Gonzaga…enjoys skiing…majoring in nutrition and exercise physiology.
