SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Indoor - Top weight throw of season was 16.46m/54-0i which is eighth-best in WSU all-time thrown at UW Invite (1/29/16, Seattle)…at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships placed 17th with a toss of 16.27m/53-4 1/2i…Outdoor - Threw the hammer a PR mark of 55.58m/182-4 at Idaho Invite (3/26/16, Moscow)…mark is fifth-best in WSU history…at the Pac-12 Championships placed ninth with a heave of 54.14m/177-7.
 
PRE-WSU CAREER. Arrives at WSU having spent the 2014 season at the University of Idaho…earned second-team, All-WAC honors…Indoor - At Western Athletic Conference Indoor Championships placed sixth in weight throw with a PR of 15.65m/51-4 1/4i (2/28/14, Moscow)…All-WAC second team…Outdoor - Threw hammer PR distance of 51.46m/168-10 for fifth place at WAC Outdoor Championships (5/17/14, Orem)…Vandals women’s team won WAC title…in 2015 competed unattached after surgery…threw hammer PR of 53.67m/176-1 at SCC Sasquatch Carnival (5/6/15, Spokane).

Earned seven varsity letters at Central Valley High School…here as middle blocker for volleyball coach Chris Kosty…four letters as a thrower/high jumper for track and field coach Geoff Arte…set and broke weight throw and hammer throw records eight times throughout prep career…hammer finishes at Washington State Hammer Championships included freshman year 13th, sophomore year fifth (121-11), junior year first (148-5) and senior year first (144-10)…weight throw PR of 47-5i was at 2013 Simplot Games…indoor All-American…Heather Dodge district female thrower award winner senior year…Harold Connolly Youth Hammer Grant Recipient junior year…competed in USATF Junior Olympics four consecutive years.
 
PERSONAL. Born in October 1994, in Spokane, Washington…parents Alan and Liz an both teachers and track and field coaches…Alan high jumped at North Idaho College…older sister Kelsey ran track at Spokane Community College…enjoys camping and archery and coaching youth track and field…president of Technology Student Association and Skills USA…member Washington Drug Free youth and American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAPHERD)…founded the Children’s Christmas Bureau stuffed animal drive in high school…majoring in psychology at WSU.
