Earned three varsity letters at Tahoma High School, all in track and field for coach Gary Conner…as a junior placed fifth at the state 4A championships with a PR javelin throw of 174-9…as a senior in 2015, threw PR of 177-5 during season…won South Puget Sound League javelin title with toss of 167-3…finished ninth at state 4A championships with a javelin throw of 169-6…attended Green River Community College but did not compete.
PERSONAL. Born in July 1996, in Aurora, Colorado…father Aurelio Cielo is an electrician…mother Julie Hawken is a dental consultant…younger sister Andee Hawken…enjoys photography, golf, snowboarding and wave boarding…majoring in biology to pursue a career in dentistry.
