Biography

WSU CAREER: Competed with the second varsity four, fourth varsity four and second varsity eight in the fall of her FRESHMAN (2019-20) season…rowed with the varsity eight in the spring, including a win over Gonzaga as WSU won its third-straight Fawley Cup.

PRIOR TO WSU: Rowed for Thames Rowing Club in London, England…discovered rowing after being talent spotted through the British Rowing World Class Start program…as a junior, earned a silver medal at the Junior British Championships…as a senior, earned a gold medal in single scull at the Junior British Scullery…made it to the semifinals of intermediate double sculls at the Women’s Henley…received two bronze medals in women’s senior quadruple sculls at the Ghent International Regatta…earned two gold medals in women’s double sculls at the Metropolitan Regatta…and earned silver in the junior women’s 18 double sculls at the Junior British Championships.
 
PERSONAL: Born Megan Catherine Duthart, October of 1999, at Kingston, England…father Alistair owns an IT business and mother Louise is a human resources and finance manager…has a twin, Ashley…older sisters Emma and Rebecca...intends to major in Communications…enjoys going to the theater…and her favorite dessert is chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream.
