Cougars Open Fall Season at Battle In The Bay

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State Women's Tennis team begins its 2024-25 season by sending a pair of players to the 2024 Battle In The Bay, Sept. 12-15 at the California Tennis Club in San Francisco, Calif.
The Cougars will have senior Elyse Tse and junior Yura Nakagawa competing in both singles and doubles at the one of the premier fall events in college tennis. Tse will open her tournament Thursday Sept. 12 against TCU's Yu-Chin Tsai while Nakagawa's first-round opponent is Virginia Tech's Mila Mulready.
In doubles play, the Cougar duo are seeded third in the 16-team draw and open against USC's Emma Charney and Imogen Haddad in the first round.
