BURNABY, British Columbia – The Washington State University women's rowing team placed three pairs in the final 250-meter sprint at the Burnaby Lake Small Boat Invitational, and sophomore
Lisa Gutfleisch and junior
Ivy Elling Quaintance won the 4,000-meter time trial and the title of Regatta Champions by winning the sprint, Saturday.
"Today was a good day of racing for this group against a strong field of competition," WSU Associate Head Coach

There were a lot of positives to draw from, and if we can continue to learn and grow from these opportunities, we will keep moving in the right direction. And of course, very well done to Ivy and Lisa on their win in the 4K time trial, our program's first win in that event. Go Cougs."
