GENERAL: Earned three varsity letters in both baseball and wrestling…baseball coach Kurt Phelps…captained both teams as a senior…JUNIOR: Hit .370 and was an all-league honorable mention pick…SENIOR (1998-99): Finished eighth at the State wrestling tournament…during the spring hit .390 and was named to the All-North Puget Sound North team…in wrestling finished 26-8 and captured eighth at the State tournament.
HETHERINGTON'S TACOMA CC CAREER
FRESHMAN (1999-00): Played for two seasons for coach Greg Swenson as a pitcher and outfielder…threw 15 innings without allowing an earned run…posted six saves…team won 30 games and finished third in the NWAAC tournament
SOPHOMORE (2000-01): Team captain…named to the All-NWAAC West Division first team as an outfielder…hit .350 and also posted an 0.75 ERA on the mound with five saves…team finished 25-19 and again was third in the NWAAC tournament.
