2025-26 WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention
Sophomore (2025-26)
Competed in all eight races for the Cougars … placed first in the 1V4 in it’s day-one heat at the WCC Championships before a second-place finish in the Grand Finals (5/15-16) … saw a second-place finish and a pair of fourth-place finishes in the 1V4 at the Big Ten Invite (4/18-19) … also placed second in the 1V4 at both the dual against Gonzaga (4/11) and at Oregon State (5/2) … twice finished fifth in the 1V4 at the San Diego Crew Classic (3/28-29) … in head racing, placed third in the 2V8 at each the Head of the Spokane (10/18) and Head of the Lake (11/2), and sixth in the 2V8 at the Head of the American (10/25).
Freshman (2024-25)
Raced as coxswain in all eight races for the Cougars as a true freshman … helped the 1V4 place second overall at the WCC Championships (5/16-17) grand final after a third-place showing at the day one preliminaries … helped the 1V4 to a fourth-place finish ahead of No. 18 Duke at the Lake Wheeler Invitational (4/26) … placed first in the 1V4 at the Fawley Cup (4/19) and first in the 2V8 at the Head of the Lake (11/3).
Prior to Washington State
Nagy came to WSU from Menlo Park, Calif. where she competed with Redwood Scullers ... finished ninth at the Head of the Charles Regatta in the U19 4x ... in addition to rowing, she also competed in soccer, basketball, volleyball and cross country ... daughter of Marina Nagy and intends to major in mechanical engineering at WSU.
