2025-26 WCC Newcomer of the Year
Freshman (2025-26)
Raced as coxswain in seven events for the Cougars in her freshman season … led the 1V8 to a pair of third-place finishes at the WCC Championships (5/15-16) … snagged a pair of first-place victories in the 2V8 in the dual against Gonzaga (4/11) and at the Big Ten Invite (4/18) … finished second in the 2V8 at Oregon State (5/2) and had two-fourth-place finishes in the 2V8 at the Big Ten Invite (4/18-19) … placed second in the 2V4 at the Head of the Spokane (10/18) … had a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 2V8 at the San Diego Crew Classic (3/28-29).
Prior to Washington State
Raj joins the Cougars from Marietta, Georgia where she was a coxswain with the rowing team at George Walton Comprehensive High School ... coxed the Varsity 4+ twice at Youth Nationals, placing first in 2024 and third in 2023 ... also was coxswain on the U17 4+ at the Head of the Charles in 2024.
