Freshman (2024-25)
Raced in all eight events for the Cougars as a true freshman … finished second in the 1V8 at the WCC Championships (5/16-17) preliminaries before placing third overall in the Grand Finals … placed fourth in the 1V8 at both days of the Lake Wheeler Invitational (4/25-26) ahead of No. 24 North Carolina … placed second in the 1V8 at both the Winchell Cup (4/5) and the Fawley Cup (4/19), and third in the event at the Head of the Spokane (10/19) and Head of the American (10/26).
Prior to Washington State
Talbot came to Pullman from Geraldine, New Zealand where she was nominated for Young Sports Person of the Year in her school's region ... in 2023 she earned Elite Colours for rowing, the highest athletic honor at the school ... in 2022 she earned the Milne Cup for Rower of the Year at her school and was also the Rower of the Year with the Timaru Rowing Club ... has also competed in snow skiing, cycling and cyclocross ... daughter of Mark and Jess Talbot and intends to major in engineering.
