WSU CAREER:
SOPHOMORE (2021-22): Indoor - Began the season at the Spokane Invitational (12/11) where she finished sixth in the shot put (12.99m) and 20th in the weight throw (12.74m)... Was fifth in the shot put at the Cougar Classic Invitational (13.81m) and fourth at the Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open (1/22).. PR'd in the weight throw at the WSU Invitational (2/3-5) with a mark of 15.65m... Won the shot at the Whitworth Indoor Invitational (2/12) with a mark of 14.27m and placed third in the weight throw at 15.40m (2/12)... Placed 13th at the Pac-12 Invitational with a mark of 12.09m in the shot and was 17th at the Pac-12 Invitational in the weight throw with a mark of 15.25... Outdoor - Opened the outdoor season at the Baldy Castillo Invitational (3/18-19) with a 13.85m (12th) in the shot put and a 43.01m (11th) in the discus... Improved in both of her outdoor events at the Buc Scoring Meet & Multi (3/24-25) with a 13.99m mark and runner-up finish in the shot put and a 46.03m to win the discus, her first collegiate win... Won the discus at the Whitworth Peace Meet (4/8) with a mark of 43.39m... PR'd to finish third in both the shot put and discus at the WSU-UW Dual (4/22) with a 14.42m in the shot and a 47.68m in the discus... Placed 15th at the Pac-12 Championships (5/13-15) in the shot put with a mark of 14.14m.

FRESHMAN (2020-21): Indoor - Saw action at three meets during her first season with Washington State...Competed in the shot put at all three meets during the indoor season, earning two second place finishes along the way...Hughes posted a personal best in the shot put at her final indoor meet at the Husky Classic where she recorded a throw of 44-feet 10 3/4 inches (13.68m)... Outdoor - Competed at two meets during her first outdoor season with the Cougs, where she competed in the shot put, discus throw and the hammer throw...Audrey saw two personal bests at the Whitworth Invite in both the discus and the hammer...She posted a throw in the discus of 141-feet 5 inches (43.11m) to earn a second place finish, and she posted a throw of 148-feet 2 inches (45.17m) in the hammer where she took home eighth place.
